  • Your languages, such as Dutch and English, are fluent – French would be a bonus! We are looking for someone who is fascinated about IT and willing to improve their IT knowledge with each passing day. You must take great interest in your job, combined with IT-related experience gained perhaps from previous (student) jobs and/or education.

You can analyse an issue, describe its origin and identify the possible causes, while collecting all of the relevant data. You are aware that customers demand high availability of their IT solutions, particularly in the aviation industry. Technical requirements

Obviously, being an IT Support Engineer is a technical role, so your all-round knowledge is important.

  • As we said earlier, we are specialists in public Cloud so knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft modern workplace (365) may be very helpful in your work.
  • We assume that you already have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Office 365 and Windows desktop and server operating systems.
  • You know how to connect to different IP devices, understand VLANs, VOIP, at least know the different wireless frequencies and have some basic knowledge of IP routing, DHCP and DNS.
  • To support our integrated solutions for the aviation and transport industries, any knowledge of IoT, databases and web development could well work in your favour.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone special for this position, so it is important that:

  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
  • You have experience in a similar job or hold a bachelor’s degree in IT.
  • You have a particular technical interest in networks, corporative systems and system management.
  • You work in a way that prevents and resolves problems.
  • You develop projects in a planned and results-oriented manner.
  • You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You have a strong interest in IT and have previous 1st, 2nd line Service Desk experience.
  • You have knowledge of ITIL methods.
  • You are happy to take the initiative, enjoy working in a solution-oriented way and possess excellent communication skills.
  • You are able to organize your work independently, without losing sight of supporting colleagues.
  • You have a B driving license is a plus but not necessary

Job-related competences

To work well with us, you will be involved in:

  • Setting up auxiliary systems for supervision, security and management of the IT infrastructure
  • Drawing up technical management procedures, usage and security procedures for the IT infrastructure
  • Networks (LAN, MAN, WAN, etc.)
  • Analyzing information system performance
  • Proposing measures for improving quality, safety and productivity
  • Identifying faults, incidents and irregularities
  • Making diagnoses and applying corrective action
  • Determining and monitoring access rights according to the characteristics of the users or services
  • Selecting or installing IT infrastructure (software, hardware, etc.)
  • Allocating and providing of software and network infrastructure (allocation, reassignment)
  • Advising and assisting development teams, IT production teams or users in the selection and application of technical solutions
  • Performing remote maintenance work on user infrastructure
  • Monitoring and updating the configuration and architecture of information systems, in response to developments
  • Training users about new developments, use of infrastructure and information systems and supporting them
  • Scripting
